I went to a tech innovations award dinner recently where Henry Samueli (one of the co-founders of Broadcom mentioned in the article) presented an award. He’s also known for donating $20+ million to his alma maters (UCI and UCLA) and also owns the Anaheim Ducks (they won the stanley cup last year) here in the OC.
